Is CHUMP a budgeting app?

No. CHUMP doesn't tell you what to spend or set limits. It shows you what you did, so you can decide what to do next. Clarity, not constraints.

Is my bank information safe?

CHUMP uses Plaid to connect you to your accounts. Plaid is read-only, so CHUMP can never move, transfer, or touch your money. Learn more about Plaid's security.

What banks does CHUMP support?

Plaid covers 99% of US banks. If you have a checking account, credit card, savings account, or investment account at a major institution, it's likely supported.

How often will CHUMP text me?

Once a day at the time you choose, plus a weekly wrap-up every Sunday. That's it. No spam, no random pings throughout the day.

What's a streak?

Every day you check in with CHUMP counts toward your streak. Even an emoji reply keeps it alive. Hit milestones at 7, 30, 100, 200, 300, and 365 days to earn 💸 streak passes and tier badges on the leaderboard.

What are 💸 streak passes?

Miss a day? A 💸 streak pass automatically saves your streak. You earn one at each milestone tier — 7 days, 30 days, 100 days, and beyond. They're rare, so use them wisely.

What's the CHUMP leaderboard?

The top 50 users ranked by streak length. Show up every day, climb the board. Leaderboard goes live at 50 users.

What's my CHUMP tag?

Your CHUMP tag is your unique username that appears on the leaderboard. Each username is preceded by an !, for example !MoneyMatt223 or !DJSasha45. CHUMP tags allow users to stay pseudonymous, but also feel free to use your known social media handle to flex on your friends and the internet.

What's the Founding Member deal?
